This article proposes a study on the three major groups of knowledge necessary for textual processing: linguistic knowledge; encyclopedic (or world) knowledge and interactional knowledge (KOCH; ELIAS, 2017), in view of school reading practices. Starting from the conception of text as a place of interaction where, in the name of an intentionality and a project of saying, the social constructors of the communicative situation act, we believe it is possible to observe how the three systems of knowledge mentioned participate in the linguistic act and how they can be activated by the student-reader of Basic Education during his activity of reading and producing meanings. For the development of this proposal, we selected, as a corpus, the package insert for the medication Neosaldina and, to analyze it, we will be guided by the concepts of text, reading and knowledge systems recommended by Textual Linguistics, which, in this work, will be represented, mainly , by Koch (1999; 2000; 2005) and Marchuschi (2008; 2009; 2012).
