A relevância do atendimento em grupo para a retomada da autonomia de sujeitos com afasia

Abstract

To analyze if the speech therapy group promotes the autonomy of people with aphasia. Methods: this research is qualitative, the main data generation instruments were a semi-structured interview in depht and the Barthel's Index, oriented by analysis of french line discourse. Results: it was found that the therapeutic group plays an important role in the resumption of the autonomy of individuals with aphasia, specially as regards the communicative aspects of social movement and everyday life, acting as a motivator to overcome the difficulties plagued by aphasic frame. Conclusion: speech therapy group proved to be an important therapeutic tool and should professionals who work with aphasia extend their look and their practices, in addition to linguistic aspects, considering the group's contributions to greater independence and social reintegration of subjects
