A influência da Língua Latina na Língua Portuguesa

Abstract

The language is an integral part of humanity's culture and as such is part of its evolution. The Portuguese language has its historical roots in Latin, and therefore receives its influence. It comes from the Vulgar Latin to arrive at the Portuguese currently spoken throughout the territory national. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of Latin in the Portuguese language. The methodology used to develop this study was a literature search. It concluded that Latin is still present in Portuguese, always undergoing a renovation, with the appearance and disappearance of signs, contributing to the lexical universe of the Portuguese language is increasinglyenriched.
