Considering that one of the most prominent themes in contemporary Brazilian narrative is that of marginal and / or peripheral reality, this article aims to investigate how this representation occurs in the novel Estação Marginal, by Sacolinha, based on the testimonial slant. The relation between marginal literature and that of evidence comes from some configurative traits, such as the first person record; the commitment to truth and remembrance; the will of resistance; the representation of a collective event; the strong presence of trauma and the condition of minority (SELLIGMAN-SILVA, 2003).
